Cracking Knuckles With Ladagna

Mardi Gras beads might work for crushed ice, but what about when a character is walking across a frozen lake? Maybe someone cracking ice. That was actually a pine cone rolling over a piece of uncooked lasagna. Surprisingly, that's not the only sound you can make with lasagna. Sometimes with the lasagna, I've used it for cracking knuckles. Knuckles cracking is another really hard sound to do because once you crack your knuckles, they're gone for whoever knows how long.
