If you've got more clarity than you do normally, then suddenly it's like, oh, I can identify why I'm procrastinating on something. You may not be aware of what reason you have for being that way about that thing andprocrastinating on it. Our brains are amazing at doing this. They tell all these stories to us behind the scenes that trigger that limbic system,. That fear response in our brain to say, ooh, I don't want to do this thing. And it keeps that cycle of I'm scared. I'm uncertain. I'm not comfortable. So I'm going to avoid and we keep spiraling into procrastination.
This week I was excited to welcome Dr. Nicole Byers to the show to discuss the correlation between neuroscience and specifically neuropsychology with productivity and efficiency.
