The way in which we use language to essentially get what we want and to avoid causing problems. And so that comes after going through lots of language for polite requests. So I remember I started my class with borrow and lend borrow and lend the difference between the words obviously borrow is similar to take, but it just means take for a while. Then you have to give it back, like you borrow a book from the library. Okay, and the opposite of that is lend. So also we say borrow from, can I borrow some money from you, please? And lend to if I if I lend some money to you, promise not to spend it too quickly. You know, so you also
