Could We Double Wheat Yields Just by Genetic Changes?
Study claims we could essentially double wheat yields just by genetic changings. One expert said it would actually be much simpler to increase wheat yields by improving the way that we grow it, better management things like fertilizer and so on. There's precedent here, of course, because the green revolution of the twentieth century involved various things,. But then we we basicaly got locked into this intensive agriculture system yemeni there are real problems with intensive agriculture.
