The Relief of Discovering You're a Bog Standard Alcoholic
A friend of mine who had coffee with Cherena Week said that he always felt there was something wrong with him, that he was somehow special. He said when he went to a meeting it was a huge relief to him to discover that he was just a bog standard alcoholic and it was no big deal. There's a common humanity among alcoholics or anyone suffering from any kind of mental health problem - even if they don't believe in God.
