What Bishops Should Ask When Someone Comes Out?
The most important thing in that setting is not to tell people like, oh, this is what you shouldn't do, or this is what the church recommends. Even if you don't follow the rules, even if you make a mistake or do something that the church would frown upon, you have a place to be. I think i woudn't really cool if i had a semery teacher who was that open about questions like that. That's my experience too. And queer children don't always have a lot of people they can go to safely.
