The Parsezan Rising in 1944-45
In 1944-45 they were reduced to carrying out classic guerrilla warfare which is just blowing up the odd substation. Most of the German retreating columns were let through either because the Parsezan was two weeks to stop them or because they only wanted to leave home and went hostile anymore. In fact Mussolini's convoy was then joined by a massive 200 strong Luftwaffe air column that was also in retreat. So they joined up together anyway. That column reported that they'd been stopped at various Parsezan checkpoints but let through because Italians basically knew that they were no threat any longer.
