John: If God's anger in the Bible is a hang up for me, I should ask myself the question. Is my problem really with God's anger as such? Would I want a God who has no emotional connection whatsoever to creation? Do I really want aGod who has no relational investment in creation that would move him to feel something about it? Whether it's compassion or anger. Is that what I really want? So that's one question to ask. And then the second would be would I want to be in an intimate relationship with somebody who never expresses their anger? Is that really something I would want in a relationship?
