The New Mythologies of the Future
The old mythic narratives and symbols that still attract us were once mythologies of some future age to come. i suspect there are people out there now working with archetypal images in ways suited to some future age. I hope they are as successful as their archaic counterparts were in developing mythic symbols with which to face often mystifying and incessantly unfolding cosmos. A mythology not tied to the success or failure of nation states, not tied to in groups or out groups, but tied instead to the discovery of and the living in radiance of life.
