Is the Roomba Home Automation?

The Roomba can actually be performing a productive task when I am not around where pretty much every other home automation we call home automation product is performing tasks that I could perform but just slightly more conveniently, right? Like I turn on my lights and my voice rather than pressing a switch or my lights can be any color. It's like home convenience like technology convenience, but the Roomba is true automation in that like I can set a schedule for it to go. Butlike the other thing is it is performing a task that is a time saving because it can happen when I'm not there and reduces my requirement to perform an action.
