Is There a Future for the Arts?

Originality was always an essential part of the chemistry of this band. You wanted to be original. Nothing changes culture that isn't new. It's like there's not many generative, alternative scenes left. If you've never felt the transformative power of music or art, then you're not going to give it the reverence that it deserves. Billy Connolly said your desire to be a politician should disqualify you from being able to be one. Yes! I probably didn't deliver it in the way that he did. Well, you've got to laugh in the cheap seats. And again, we reminisced and reflected a little bit on when I felt that the arts could flourish and thrive
