The Virtues of Character Education
We use the jubilee centre framework of virtues, which in its simplest form is divided into four categories. They include moral virtues, performance virtues, civic virtues and intellectual virtues. And we think it's very important for our students to have and understand all those virtues. Is character the best work? Character feels like the scaffolding, not the building. You might want to teach about kindness. Kindness is one aspect of character, isn't itis? The thing we're interested in is the different aspects of character. Despite the pandemic, a lot of them are incredibly hopeful about the future,. A again, liking lots of other good schools.
