My very young guest this week was walking in a parking lot, and an old man was in his car listening to AC/DC. She asked if she could sit down and listen with him, and he said yes. They listened, talked, and eventually and abruptly, he turned off the music—she felt as though it invalidated the whole thing. She walked away feeling terrible. Oh, dear!
