The film is seven hours and forty five minutes. It was made for the hundredth anniversary of wagner's death, 19 83. The whole film tho seven hours fulty five minutes. When we were planning the film about wagner, we didn't really know that it would be either that short or that long. We just knew it was big subject would require big film.
