Is There a Flood in the Middle East?

If there wasn't a global flood, could there have been a local one? Absolutely. There were multiple local floods in the middle east in the right time frame. The question is whether we can identify one of them as the particular event that serves as the background to the biblical flood narrative. In a future episode, we may look at some of the different propose s for which floods may have inspired the biblical narrative.
