The Differences Between Ethics and Compliance
Antoine: I've always tried to emphasize that extrinsic versus intrinsic orientation of the two. Because ethics is about what you believe and what your values are, what you think is right. For example, the project that joined Novartis on was the launch of the new cut of ethics. And so that is in itself as a signal that, yeah, what we're talking about here is more than just compliance with regulation. That's very much the promise of this lab that Wei and I are part of here at RNG Insights Lab.
