Yenny Fela's Story

Fela's mother, Fonnemileo Kooti, was thrown out of a second story window by the police. She never fully recovered from her injuries and she would die a little over a year later. Yenny wrote about it on this song called Unknown Soldier. On this song, he also mocks the soldiers as being mindless and only following orders. He brought his mother's coffin to the doorsteps of General Obasongo, the general of the Nigerian army who Fela held responsible in the first place.
