Baptism Is Not a Magic. It's a Gift of the Lord
Baptism is not magic. It's an act of God's grace. And it requires faith. In order to have that baptism do something, I think you actually probably need a degree of faith. But if there's a baby getting baptized, how can that baby have faith? Maybe it's not the baby's faith that's operative in this situation. The Eucharist, because John 6, Jesus says, unless you eat the flesh of the son of Man and drink his blood, you don't have life within you.
