The Future of Sustainable Development
Part of the issue here we've seen in the international climate negotiations where the industrialized countries make all these commitments but then the money doesn't actually show up. Even if you see tackling climate change and decarbonizing, even if you see that as an economic win over time, it costs money in the short term. And so the sustainability business case is going to be a lot harder to make than it should have been. It's in our self-interest to do that, but we're not seeing much of that happen yet.
