I'm a detective. And so my detective work originally was in, and this is when I was in high school, was in bacteriology. Then I went to the University of Chicago to study industrial organization. That's what I started doing. But then I realized that what I really wanted to do was combine my knowledge and love of history with economics. So an amazing economist named Fred Kahn and Fred Kahn got me involved in the field of regulation industrial organization. He says he felt as if every day he would be filled with interesting ideas from some of the greatest minds.
