Alex Meade: Did you always want to make images from a child or did you find it later? Meade: Not necessarily as a photographer. But I sort of dabbled on different things, including terrible paintings and even worse sculptures. He says he was inspired by two books in particular, The Decisive Moment and Frank's the Americans.
