Is There a Parallel Between Alchemy and Buddhism?

The chances of alchemy not being influenced by or originating from india is quite slim. I wonder if the teachings originated in india and then eventually made their way to china. It's a different culture, enotes a whole different scene. And so something that worked just fine on the indian sub continent might not work as well in china. There are cultural leanings and differences and eran filters that things have passed through. So, yes, i think so. I think the tradition had to change.
