Emotions do drive behavior. If you don't understand how to manage your emotions, then behaviors happen based on circumstances that are happening outside of you. So just remember that we have emotions, but we're not our emotions. And when it comes to this, it's all about repetition and starting out small, forming those habits and committing for 100 days. That's the beginning part, commit to one for 100 days of making progress and building a constructive positive empowering habit.
