Dave Chang: I think there'll be early evidence of pulling off something extraordinary against the odds. If I don't see that early evidence in some context and they did something that I could imagine how hard it would have been to overcome, then it is very hard to spot that person. And when I see that case study, then I start paying attention. Do you back a person who you see can develop into a diamond who is coming to you with an idea that's a piece of shit? I should be a great person. What do you do? Shitty idea, great person.
