"We're pretty comfortable with how the governor's characterizing the view," he says. "The risk is much more to the upside on rates into the downside, certainly based on what we're seeing in the data." But it is reflection of this bizarre positioning in markets which are expecting a cut presumably because they expect either inflation to go down much more rapidly than we think is reasonable or that they expect growth to be a lot weaker".
