You've been married longer than I've been alive, which is... That's a good thing. But there obviously were moments in your life and moments in your marriage where gratitude was probably lacking with each other. How did you manage that? One of the main things is that you cannot give yourself permission to hold on to resentment. You just have to forgive all the time and ask for forgiveness. And make things right as much as possible.
Gratitude is the lubricant of the brain. Research shows that grateful people have more agile minds. Ungrateful people actually end up having mental rigidity.
In this week’s episode of the McManus Podcast Aaron and Erwin McManus uncover the effects of gratitude on relationships, particularly in the context of dating, where the posture of gratitude plays a pivotal role.
More topics covered in this episode:
- Does faith and spirituality unlock different levels within your mind?
- Is gratitude essential?
- How can I make things last?
Thank you for watching. We appreciate you!
