Greer Is a Techno Optimist
Greer thinks we probably won't live in the actual dark age in our lifetime. Collapse is often a step function, regardless for an individual. And it's worth noting that the average mediaeval peasant worked fewer hours and had more days off than you do. Greer correctly says that the most important thing is to be able to create actual value. We should get as many physical books as possible, and perhaps maintain the ability to print more.
