High-perch fee focus training is likely to skew to higher rep ranges, more isolation work, and a wider variety of movement patterns with the slightly closer proximity to failure than maximal strength focus training. And it's just because it can. Because you don't have to compromise for the state of goal, you get this broader base of physical development. So if we set up a study that makes people stronger but not bigger, then they could see what happens.
