The US Military Budget Increases in 2023
In 2022, US military spending made up nearly two-fifths of the entire world. Washington spent 10 times more than Russia and three times more than China. And there are trillions of dollars of spending that is completely unaccounted for. But even if we look at the official discretionary spending budget, we can see that in 2023, the military was about $800 billion.
