The Ring and the Effect of Shame on Identity
Shame and identity was the theme that popped out the most to me as watching this movie with therapist's eyes. There's just so much shame, it seems like, around the way that it makes the ring makes all the characters feel. And I was noticing how it impacted the way that they are like honest with each other to be frank.
