There's a great verse in Moses 659 where the Lord talks about being reborn. I've always liked this connection because the day of my children were born, I remember that day and yes, there was a lot still left to go. It definitely wasn't an ending point. But man, that day where they became ours is a special day. And I think of baptism the same way that the Lord looks at this brand new member of his family saying, now you're mine. Now you go where I go. Now I take care of you. You're in my family now.
Dr. Shon Hopkin continues to explore the blessings of baptism and being part of the family of Jesus Christ.
