The Crusading Arm of the French
The french chose to make their way south by more or less following the mediterranean coast. Along the way they were constantly har ried and attacked by turkish raiding forces. The decisive blow finally came near a mountain named mount cadmus, in what is to day southern turkey. It was a crushing defeat that king louis just barely survived.
