In 20 17, baltimore did the first major rewrite of itsonian ode in decades. The city allowed for the spaces to be resoned is commercial in extuse. And i've slowly, over the past three, 40 years, seen these long vacant places around the city get reactivated and business is popping up in them. I think what the pandemic did was allow businesses to do a little experimenting with that,. like you saw in new york city and in some cases, and in baltimore.
