The Civil War in East Parkistan Began in March 1971
In march 19 71, the parkistan army began its brutal campaign. Sheik mujibu rachman was arrested and taken to west pakistan. The non co operation movement saw continuous general strikes across east parkistan. It resulted in more intense talks between yahya khan and sheikmujibu raman's camp. But as we discovered, all this was a big show for yaya to move in reinforcements.
