Having a Vacation Home Is a Really Powerful Part of It
In times of hardship, the key was to be able to draw on the strength of multiple nation states. The other component was simply having a safe place to go if you were not personally being targeted. And so for me, i haven't done it yet, but that's kind of what i'm looking for - two bases around the world and at least one or two retreat places where you have this sense of family tradition.
