The Orchid Thee is a response to writer's block. Charlie Kaufman basically wrote the movie that you see by writing himself into it almost just like how the movie plays out. He didn't tell the studio he was doing it and decided it would be better if he pitched it, he just gets shot down. So he was like, I'll just do it and hand it in. They liked it. And now we're doing it. That's why we need to do it on writer's block busters, right? Yeah. Because this is like the ultimate writer's block movie.
