Is the Affordable Care Act a Resounding Success?
According to the numbers, it's unclear that the Affordable Care Act achieved anything at all. Rather, what appears to have happened is an expansion of Medicare and Medicaid has achieved this second item, which is a reduction in the number of uninsured. But we're ignoring what's happening on the other side of the equation, which is the quality of health care is going up. And already my eyes are glazing over. What am I supposed to think about this big jumble of business?
