The Polish War College's Re-Armorement Program

A committee was set up in 1935 to make recommendations on what should be done to kind of prepare the Polish military. The result was a six-year re-armament program with the goal of greatly increasing motorization and tank capabilities. In theory, if everything went well, all the Polish forces needed to do was hold the line against the first German attacks; then wait for threat to Western Germany to force Wehrmacht to reposition troops.
