We as humans have a tendency to respond to loss very differently than the potential gain. So even though I might know that this is all of this investment in spending and monetary expenses going out the door is for the greater good, it doesn't necessarily mean that it feels that way in the moment. And if we're not expecting that pressure, we're sort of dealing with it ahead of time.

Should you stay or should you go? If you're so stressed you feel like you can't function normally, or you feel completely misaligned with your work, or you're no longer able to have a social life, or maybe all the above... something does have to change! However, you actually have more options than simply staying or quitting.
