There's some correlations in terms of age of first period and age of menapas. Overis stop producing eggs by mid fortieso 50, mit by mid fifties,. I seems to be largely just genetically programmed the timing of when the peries do that. If you were on the pill that should delay menapos by 20 years, but it doesn't do that. It actuall brings menapaus a little sooner, i think, as it shrinks thoveries.
