Do companies ever outsource the management of their CVCs to say seasoned venture investors or outside firms? Yeah. So you're joking about what you know what my answer is, but I'll try and solve the answer from typically not to where it can work. What you don't want to do is just outsource it to pick your geography,. Silicon Valley, New York, whatever, of an existing VC fund - that's a bad idea. Because you don't actually get the ability to truly internalize the insights that I was talking about. All those advantages that corporations have around expertise, access to assets, your brand new markets, you don't get that as well.
