The US Support for Ukraine in the War

Stoltenberg: If we never in 2008 that the Bucharest summit announced Ukraine's eventual admission in NATO, this war might not have happened. Another alternative question is what would the war look like if the United States had stayed out of it, or merely provided roughly what other countries are providing? That's a difficult question. The US has had extremely accurate intelligence. We knew the Russian invasion was coming. We knew when it was coming. And we also knew why they were going to do it because the U.S. did not respond to Russia’s diplomatic note calling for discussions about a new security architecture for Europe with Ukrainian membership excluded.
