The Problem of Too Few Beds in the Hospitals
Too few beds actually in the hospital. That's the reason that these ambulances can't unload their patients into the hospital. You know, also, during these ten years, hospital bed numbers have been cut back generally. But what's also happening is something the government has consistently failed to deal with: people who are well enough to be discharged from hospital but not well enough to go to their homes.
