Baba ganouche and mutabal are terms that are used somewhat interchangeably across the middle east. Both refer to cooked egg plant dips, usually with some garlic and some lemon in them. Mutabell is a cousin of babaganouce, so delicious, so rich, so creamy. But then you got those kind of sharp, tangy notes fro the pomegranate and the lemon against the kind of creamy richness of the theny.
