The Miss Casey of Mark's Wife

I didn't realize it till the last episode where Mark during jailbreak is able to see a picture of his wife and he's like, that's Miss Casey. I couldn't help but wonder if she was the one that specifically placed Mark's wife in the position that she's in. It also begs the question, where the fuck does Miss Casey go? What happens to her? Is she become Mark's wife? You remember she goes down to whatever the place is that Erv remembers in his half remembered being to the Longdark hallway. They established that that's the first memory people have as they walk out from severance.
