Does the Mar-Lago Prosecution Run Right Into the 2024 Presidential Race?

Former senior justice department officials believe that if criminal charges are brought, they see the Mar-Lago case as one of the more likely options. January 6th is a more challenging case, they say, because so many of the actions were taken while he was the top executive within the US government. My question is, how does that go with the public sentiment? I mean, it's a records case, right? And is that going to have the same impact as a January 6th prosecution?
