Introduction

In the eighties there was this thing where we thought that there were satanic cults that were murdering children. And what struck me, until you said that, is that i can't think of any allegations that i've read about so far about actual child murder. There were a lot of stories about animal sacrifice, but what the accusations were mainly about were child sexual abuse. The case that started this all off was the mac martin pree school case in 19 83 and went until 19 90. It cost 15 million dollars. There was, in the end, essentially no result. There was no actual evidence. Everyone got acquitted.
