Robert Garro's Downward Spiral

Robert Garro kept his true self concealed for years thanks to a squeaky clean, wholesome facade. Four years after his release from prison when he was 36, it began to slip again. The downward spiral started in the summer of 1972. He ran a stop sign and collided with another car as he drove home from a fishing trip. During the crash, Garro hit his head but refused medical treatment. It's unknown if he experienced any psychological disturbances along with the headaches.
