"I learned a valuable lesson about what meaningful work means and what I have to say as a photographer not just being technical photographs but being combined with who I am as a human being," he says. "The problem with people who are starting in photography or sort of middling photographers by now you have to be really careful where you get your feedback from because if your mates are just telling you the whole time how good you are it could be a game changer for your photography."
