The Psychological Model of Emotions

You can reason someone out of a notion they didn't reason into. It's fascinating. And what you're usually arguing about is not actually the thing that you're arguing about. There's often a subtext to the argument. Is your mental model of emotions something along the lines of almost feedback loops of what we're more likely to help us thrive within our tribes like, you know, a thousand years ago or whenever it was,. use some of those sort of emotions are still adapted to modern environment. Some of them are no longer adapted. But is that fundamentally what they were doing was kind of intuitions about what was more likely to raise our reputation among our tribe or?
